Switching owners

My mother-in-law gave us her old Roku for my daughter's room, can I remove her account and use my own?

Re: Switching owners

Hopefully it not too old.

I would do a factory reset. Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset>>

Make sure she isnt paying for anything extra....

Re: Switching owners

@nikkimae00

Thanks for the inquiry.

As @boogernose mentioned, we recommend to try performing a factory reset on your device as this will reset all settings and return your Roku device to a state ready for initial setup.

For more information on how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?

Thanks,
Danny
