We have had a Roku device in the living room for a number of years. I purchased a Roku TV last Christmas and set up (I thought) my own account. I haven't used it very often recently. When I turned it on last week and wanted to add a channel I saw it going to the account we use with the other device.
Is if possible to have more than one account with the same wifi? I don't know why it switched to the other account. I would like to keep the purchases separate.
Hi,
Thanks for the inquiry.
You can have more than one account in a household. For more information regarding separate Roku accounts, visit our Support page here: Do I need a separate Roku account for each of my Roku® streaming devices?
Thanks,
Danny
I want to set up one of my roku devices on a separate account so that I can limit the channel availability for my grandkids. The device is currently on my first account. How do I switch it? I have created the new account but each time I tell my current account to forget the device it just picks it back up.
You have to factory reset the Roku to change the account.
