Internet connection

I have purchased 3 Roku devices. 1. The internet will connect sometimes. 2. Connected great to internet then stopped working after 1 month. 3. Internet is connected but it really sucks. The router is only 6ft away and every other device works perfectly on it other than the roku device

Need more info:  Roku Model #s/firmware version(s), connected via 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz, what does Settings/Network/Check connection indicate is your internet download speed? ISP name, modem/gateway model, how many devices are simultaneously connected/streaming/etc.
