I was canceling Discoveryt 3/27/21 today just now and they charged my card.

I'm waiting to see if they are going to put my change back.

Premium subscriptions auto-renew when your pre-paid (or free trial) subscription period runs out.  To prevent paying for a subscription extension you have to unsubscribe BEFORE the subscription (or trial) period runs out.  One minute later and you're on the hook for the next subscription period.  When you unsubscribe you don't get a refund of the unused portion of your subscription -- the subscription remains in force until you reach the end of your pre-paid period

This is standard for all premium subscriptions of which I am aware..
