Cancelling an order

I just ordered a device and found out that it doesn't work for what I needed so I would like to cancel my order. They make this very hard. What do I do?

I was contacted by email last night. They said that my order can't be cancelled. They will send it to me and then they will send me a return label to send it back for a full refund. What a stupid way to do business!

Unable to cancel order before it's even shipped!

I've placed the order over the weekend. This order is not yet shipped. Since I've found a better offer somewhere else I want to cancel my order with Roku. But the online portal doesn't allow me to do so. It just keeps asking me to go to support.roku.com and there is no option on this portal to get help.

 

I'm just trying to save work for me of going to USPS/UPS to do a return when we can cancel it right away.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping they are reading this forum and reply back soon. They don't have phone support due to the situation. At least I was hoping online self-support will be great, but so far no luck.

Order email or support portal doesn't provide any information on how to create a ticket with Roku team.

May be I don't know where to look for! As you said it's waste of my time and their resources if they can't help me to cancel the order right before it leaves their store!

ridiculous way to do business, I am having the same issue. And there is a phone number to call but it’s useless. They’re saying because of the situation they have no customer service. But there’s no way even on the website to cancel an order. i’ll never buy anything from them again.
