Re: email wrong on one of my devices

I would go into the "wrong" account and unlink it, and/or factory reset the Roku, and then connect it to the account you prefer,

Oh and delete all the extra subscriptions from the "wrong" account.  I would do that first.

Re: email wrong on one of my devices

I hoping not to have to do a factory reset which is what i was afraid I'd have to do. because stupid me in a yr never once looked at the email since the day i set it up just thought Roku messed up. but that's a yr of recordings and alot hasn't been watch just to watch on certain days or afternoons with family when we binge watch our shows. not sure how to unlink it and relink it to another email I didn't see that in settings

Re: email wrong on one of my devices

Hopefully you can go to https://my.roku.com and log into your second account using the "off by one" email address as your login name.  If successful:

  • Go to your subscriptions and cancel any attached to this Roku account to prevent future duplicate charges.  Note that this will keep it/them from auto-renewing at the end of the subscription period but will continue to be in force until your prepaid subscription period(s) run out.
  • These subscriptions are only viewable via this same Roku account, on the Roku linked to it.  If it/they duplicate subscriptions on your other account and are viewable on your other Rokus, go ahead and unlink this device from the account then cancel the account.  If there are any you have only subscribed to on the "off one" account and you wish to watch the balance of the pre-paid subscription period on this Roku, then unlink and cancel when the subcsription(s) run out.
  • When you're ready to link this device to your "first" Roku account, the only way to do this is via a Factory reset to wipe the unit's memory, then set it up from scratch, carefully linking it to the account you want to use.  Once linked, all the channels installed to this account will automatically fill in on this unit, but you'll probably need to log into any channel that requires a login or link to a tv provider account.
