Re: additional fees when adding an app

If you have a subscription directly with FrndlyTV, add the app and sign in with your FrndlyTV credentials (not your Roku credentials).  There won't be any additional fees.

Roku doesn't really charge a fee for any app.  Any fee collected is on behalf of the provider of the app and is passed on to the provider after Roku takes their cut (generally 20%).

Re: additional fees when adding an app

Generally, ALWAYS sign up at a services WEB SITE. Do NOT sign up through an app or device service. This is usually the safest as you now have direct access and control and don't have to deal with 3rd parties making a mess of things.

For reference: read that Philo is going to charge users who pay through Apple a $4 fee to cover the "Apple Tax".
