Why do I suddnly need to provide a phone number?

What next, my wifes bra size?

Seriously. I purchased a streaming stick+ combo which came with a voice remote. I didn't need to provide a phone number to get that. But now that I need to replace the remote. I'm required to provide a phone number, or I am not allowed to purchase one.

Thanks for the post.

If you need assistance with a remote replacement, can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
