Vix Premium still shows ads during non-live shows

Jump to solution

Paid the annual fee for Vix Premium $59.99 subscription.  Like the subject says, there are still 3-4 ads that pop up during the content with some ads that are 1 minute in length.  When you sign up it clearly says ad-free with subscription.  Please address why this is happening.  No this is not 'Live' content.

Per Vix...

Para ver ViX Premium sin anuncios a través de Roku, necesitas suscribirte al plan premium que no incluye publicidad. El plan premium sin anuncios ofrece una experiencia de streaming sin interrupciones publicitarias.

Thanks for sharing this here, @iobidder!

Could you share some more info? Where are you trying to access your subscription, through Roku or the standalone app? Two apps might be the same, but they require different subscriptions. See image below for reference:

If you're accessing it on its own standalone app and you signed up through Roku, you might just be on a free trial, which is why you're seeing ads. Just check the app in the Roku Channel and see if you can get to it from there.

Let us know what you find out!
