Unknown charge: Roku Chanel 816

Jump to solution

I received a charge. Showing as,  The Roku Chanel 816 278  8107, DE,US. I checked on the app. Yet there is no channel showing a charge being made. I've checked the other streaming channels we have no charge either. Tried different ways to reach some form of customer service help. No luck. Appreciate any help.

@Loona25, it's not "Channel 816"; it's "The Roku Channel" and the 816 is the beginning of a phone number.  DE is Delaware where Roku is incorporated and I'll let you figure out US.  🙂  Do you have any premium subscriptions you access through The Roku Channel?  You should be able to see any subscriptions that you have through Roku by logging into your account at https://my.roku.com using the email address that's displayed on your device under Settings->System->About.  I assume the same information would be present in the mobile app, but I rarely use it.  If you have multiple Roku devices (or have ever had multiple devices), it's possible that you have multiple Roku accounts, so check the email address on each one.

Account/billing support starts at https://support.roku.com/contactus, but you can try the phone number.  It's probably best to try 9 to 5 Pacific time, but don't get your hopes up that you'll be able to reach someone.
