I cannot seem to get uk channels. I am based in the UK and set up my account in the UK. Can someone help me?
Thanks for the inquiry.
It sounds like you may have created a Roku account that isn't located in your current region. If channels in your region are not available, it may indicate that your device is linked to an account that was created in a different region where that channel may not be offered by the channel provider. You'll want to make sure that you are using an internet connection located in the correct region when creating your account. You can check your IP address' reported location by visiting www.whatismyip.com - If you see an issue, you'll need to contact your ISP to help resolve any issue.
We would recommend creating a new Roku account in your region. For more information about how to create a new account, visit our Support page here: How do I create a Roku® account? Once your new account is set up, try to perform a factory reset on your device and link it to your new account. That has happened occasionally for users. For an unknown reason your Roku account gets registered in the wrong country. Sometimes it's because a VPN was in use, not that I'm saying that is your reason. Send a private message to @RokuTannerD or @RokuDanny-R with your account email address and Roku serial number and they can look into it from their side.

Hi Danny
w have done this and it still doesn’t work. I am getting very frustrated with this and if you can’t resolve I will just put it in the bin.
i look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for the note.
Please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number of the Roku device from Settings>System>About. I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
I am having this problem after setting up a new account. I set up the account in my living room, connected to my home wifi, which the roku was also connected to. Any fix found?

Sorry, not following the problem. It doesn't matter where in the home your Roku is located. If you have a UK Roku user account, and you're located in the UK, then your Roku will have whatever channels are available in the UK. Am I missing something?
You would think so.
I mentioned my location as clearly it should not be a US account, yet I only have US channels. [post edited]

I was merely asking for clarification. If you don't desire any assistance, have a nice day.
Thanks for the post.
