Just got an e-mail from Amazon:
Amazon will no longer be supporting the Prime Video app on your Roku device (The specific models no longer supported are: 3500X, 2710X, 2720X, 2700X, 3050X, 3100X, 2400X, 3000X, 2500X, 2450X, 3400X, and 3420X) as of 1st November, 2021. We are continually upgrading our service and this occasionally means we can no longer support certain device models. To help you to continue streaming your favorite content, customers may purchase a new Roku device at a discount. Log in with your Roku account to see the offer: https://my.roku.com/upgrade/prime-exclusive-upgrade/details.
However, the link does not include a streaming device. The regular roku site includes some $10 "discounts", but at least one has already expired. Anybody know what's going on?
Thanks, Allan

This does work, thanks. For some reason, link in e-mail did not.

That link works - click on "Add offer" to add a $10 Express into the Cart at Roku.com.

I'm able to add the offer, but when I click on checkout, the shopping cart is empty.
Ideas?
I clicked on "Add Offer" and then a "your cart is empty" screen comes up. Can't seem to purchase upgrade with discount. Any suggestions?
Make sure you are logged in to Roku.com, and that you and your account are located in the US/US created.
Why the **bleep** are we having to purchase another device??? I just purchase my Roku Ultra earlier this month WTH!!!
I have been sent round and around at least six times trying to purchase the upgraded Prime Roku (forced to buy) but the order never goes through, just end up back at putting it in the cart. I tried using my credit card and then tried using Paypal. Both just send me back to putting the offer in the cart.
What is happening? How can it be fixed?

The upgrade requirement is for much older models - not any Ultra.
If you still have an older model on your account (such as any of the listed ones), the Prime app wont work on it as of November 1.
Apparently this is a known issue and the Roku website engineers are trying to correct it.
I would wait another day or two and try again.
