Hello . . . I used to have a subscription to the Acorn channel. It canceled it; my last invoice was dated 1/20. I've decided I want the channel again. When I go into my account to manage my subscriptions, Acorn shows as an expired subscription, ending on 2/19. There is no button to resubscribe. When I go to the Channel Store and click on Acorn, it shows "installed" and says "service may require additional fees."
Thinking that "installed" might mean I am still subscribed, I go into Roku using the Roku app on my iPad. When I click on the Acorn channel, it brings up a window that says "You don't currently have a subscription to Acorn TV on The Roku Channel. Access to premium content on the the Roku mobile app is provided through the subscriptions managed by your Roku account."
So I hook up my Roku device--and there's the Acorn channel. I can watch all the shows. But my subscription expired on 2/19, so how is this possible? I want to watch the Acorn channel from my iPad using the Roku app. If I can watch it on my Roku device, why can't I watch it through the Roku app on my iPad? And if my subscription expired, how am I able to watch Acorn on my Roku device?
Thanks for the inquiry.

You really should log in to https://my.roku.com/ and go to Manage your subscriptions to cancel any Roku subscription.
Leaving a message on Roku's user supported chat board won't cut it. When you subscribed, all the little text you didn't read and just clicked through covered all that. I'm just letting you know so you don't have any surprises down the road.
