I can't get any help anywhere. The place I rent used to be an Air Bnb, for some reason, last night, I could not access ROKU and the whole system asked me to log in remotely via my computer which I have never done before, and it gave me a code. I am moving out of this unit at the end of the month, I have no idea how to log out of the TV system (the previous owner sold the property) and I have no idea how to disable or uncouple the account from my email, I actually don't even remember giving Roku my email. In a few days I will have no need of this account. Please help as there seems to be no way to contact a support person
Thanks for the inquiry.
Is the TV currently activated and linked to a Roku account? Are you able to access Settings > System > About, and if so does your Roku account email show at the top of the screen?
If you need to unlink the TV to your Roku account, you can either:
1) simply try to perform a factory reset on the Roku TV to unlink the TV. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?
2) if you want unlink the TV manually (as well as verify the Roku TV is no longer linked to your Roku account), you can log into your Roku account online at my.roku.com and at the bottom of the page, you should be able to see any linked devices to your Roku account and remove them if desired. For more information about how to unlink a Roku device, visit our Support page here: How do I remove a Roku® streaming device from my Roku account?
Thanks,
Danny
