Big mistake Roku!
That's not what the email said.

This looks legitimate. There are newsfeeds about this, as well. Unfortunately, Roku was not able to get to a contract agreement with SpectrumTV, either. Of the few services available to me, two (now) may not be supported by Roku.
It’s a great box with a great UI and search, but I think it’s time to move on from Roku. AppleTV just released their box, and it looks pretty interesting.
I will wait to see if YoutubeTV gets shut down on my Roku. So disappointed.
I'd wait until Google actually pulls the app from Roku. If that does happen, and the same thing doesn't happen with Apple TV (or Amazon Fire TV devices), you'll have those options, as well as Google's own Chromecast With Google TV.

I just purchased a new Ultra. I assumed that since I have had a Roku account for several years I could keep all my apps and streaming channels. But, boy was I wrong. When you activate a NEW device Youtube TV is not available. Total BS, so I had to use my old streaming stick.
@forephred, you can find Youtube TV in the regular Youtube channel/app.
Why should I reach out to Google to help settle your dispute? The best option for all Roku users and thost thinking of purchasing Roku products, is to DUMP Roku now. Buy a fire stick. Maybe then they will come to some sort of agreement. I, for one will buy fire stick...........

Or, stop subscribing to Google's service, YouTube TV, and switch to another provider. Maybe then they'll come to some sort of agreement.
See how that works?

I bought a Roku because they were supposed to be agnostic to the streaming provider. When I pick a streaming provider I am choosing that versus other providers.
YoutubeTV has not left Roku, so, for now I am still satisfied. I really like Roku’s search feature. But not enough to change providers for.
