No way! This must be a Roku problem! This happens with many accounts I sign up through email directly with several streaming services with, which happens to be the same email that my Roku account is under. Many times the problem seems to fix itself after a few weeks, which eats up most of the monthly subscription and this is very frustrating.

When you first load most any app on a Roku, you should get the logon screen. Sometimes, they hide the actual login and make it look like opening a new account is the only way. You may need to scroll around to find something like "Already have a subscription" or "Sign In" is highlighted. I have ZERO subscriptions through Roku, and have no problems logging in to the various services.
