My Roku had already been compromised when I purchased and set it up: I fell for the "set-up fee" scam a year or so ago but it's been working fine until recently. 

Now when I turn on my Roku it says "Roku Renewal Required "  and it wants me to sign out as a "guest " and set up a scheduled date when I assume will be a day for the Renewal. 

I don't believe a word of it but I can't  get passed this page and/or access ANYTHING .

How do I fix this?!

At the very least you need to perform a factory reset.  @RokuDanny-R and @RokuKariza-D should take note of this scam.
