I've noticed friends and family opting for incredibly weak account passwords because it's easier to type them in using the Roku Remote.
I just want to start the conversation about this and get some ideas for what Roku can do to make authentication easier for its users so that they can protect their accounts with strong passwords.
If there are already some methods for this, please share them.
I think it would be handy if all the authentication for accounts is done in the app, and then users could simply pair remotes to the app with a hardware code of some sort. That way users can continue using password managers that generate strong passwords they don't have to memorize as well as not need to type in passwords using the arrow keys.
