I returned a purchased item over a month ago and Roku received it on January 22, 2021. I've responded to their emails with proof of delivery and followed up with several email - still no response - still no refund - still no communication. there is no one to call and no way to reach them other than via email, to which they don't respond. I cannot understand what is going on? How does anyone ever purchase anything from them if you can't get responses. I own almost a dozen Roku devices but cannot see how I would ever purchase another one.
We're seeing a lot of similar complaints since the Covid shutdowns started. It's too late to help with your issue, but the moral of the story is to buy from someone with a liberal return policy, like Amazon or even Wal-Mart.
