I purchased MLB package to watch out of market games. MLB says they don’t see my subscription. Roku took my money for the subscription. Anybody have an idea of how this works?
I’m having the same issue! Hubby on phone with MLB customer service and getting nowhere.
Same problem here. I called MLB and they said I had to work it out with Roku. What a joke! Roku took $150 and I have nothing to show for it and nobody to call.
I never ordered a subscription for mlb. Don’t even like baseball and after spending several hours with mlb trying to solve this issue the told me Roku charged my card and I need to resolve it with them. How can they just take money for something I never ordered. They’ve made it near impossible to contact anyone to discuss.
might I suggest any of you dealing with the same issue contact your state atny generals office. That’s my next step. It appears there’s a pattern on theft from Roku.
Hi @Givememymoneyba,
We understand that you have unauthorized charges from the MLB app on your account.
We recommend you contact our Account and Subscription team for further assistance. In the meantime, setup a Roku pin to the Roku account to avoid unauthorized charges. Click here to learn how to create a Roku PIN.
Thanks,
Roku Community Team
I am having this exact issue. Extremely frustrating, also the charge on my credit card is from MLB not Roku! The subscription appears to have just disappeared and I am getting nowhere with MLB customer service.
I got renewal notices from MLB email addresses as well.
