tried and tried to stop a recurring charge . this is stupid chit here . i am being charged and can't get anyone on the phone or in chat support .
Go to your Roku account, manage subscriptions and check to see if you have a subscription paid through Roku, you can turn off auto renew there.
If you have a subscription that isn't paid through Roku (Not all apps are), check those individual apps.
You can chat/talk with someone at Roku customer support by going to the Roku customer support page (this is mostly a user forum), scroll down, select contact us (Roku), accounts & payments, then select the next option on the list, and then you should have an option to chat/talk with customer service.
You can also set up a pin to prevent accidental/unauthorized purchases.
If you didn't authorize that charge, you can dispute that with your bank.
you claimed there was a phone number in someone's post , but you to chicken chit to give it out ?
I never said anything about a number. I don't work for Roku. I said that I would not trust anyone giving out a number unless it was a Roku moderator and/or Roku employee. Like I said, this is a user forum and not customer support. Follow the links provided in page 1 from the Roku moderators and you will be able to contact someone from Roku.
I clicked on the support link that Roku has given in this thread, which is:
https://support.roku.com/contactus
And four mouse clicks later, I had a phone number. I've never called it, so I have no idea how quickly they answer etc., but you can certainly get a phone number out of their contact us link.
