So I signed up for Discovery Plus using Roku. I wanted to lopg on to discovery plus using my computer and my google chromecast, but when I try to log in to Discovery plus using my roku login info, nothing is found, but I don't see anywhere in Roku where any seperate log in info was created just for discovery plus, should I want to access it in other ways. Please help.
When you subscribe to premium subscriptions through 3rd party systems like Roku, Amazon, Hulu, etc, your accounts are with that 3rd party acting as an agent for the channel, not with the channel itself. These are typically only viewable via the 3rd party service through which you subscribed. In Roku's case, many are viewed via The Roku Channel.
If you want to view on all platforms supported by that channel you typically must subscribe directly with the channel via its web page then use its dedicated app for each platform, authenticating via the credentials you established with the channel account.

Roku wake up, this is horrible, there is no value to subscribe through you. I am canceling my subscription with roku and never subscribing again through roku

it’s clear what my problem is, I want to use my Discovery plus account on my iPad while I was traveling, how do I do that? The simple answer is you cannot, hence why on earth would I subscribe through Roku and have less flexibility for the same full price?
This may not work with every subscription but for my Starz account I selected forgot password and then set a password using the same email tied to my Roku account and it allowed me to login.
I wish Roku would make it clear that subscripts through roku only work on roku devices. I’ve spent quite a bit of time messing around and agree that this limits the value
i tried the forgot password through discovery+ but never got the email and if I did I was worried about creating collateral damage by resetting it
I was searching for the same thing. I wanted to log into the Discover+ app, which I signed up with through Roku. I was able to log into the Discovery+ app by simply choosing "Forgot Password" from the Discovery+ app and then creating a new password. Once I did that I was able to log in with no problem. Discovery also shows that I am paying monthly through Roku.
