How to change peacock programming (higher package to lower package)

I currently have Peacock Premium Plus ($10/month).  I want to change my programming to the basic package ($5/month).  How do I do this?  Do I have to cancel subscription and renew at the lower plan?  Thanks for your help.

How did you subscribe to Peacock?

Directly with Peacock on its website?
Through Roku?
Through some other third party (Amazon, YouTubeTV, Hulu, Sling, etc)?

In addition to our Roku Community expert @makaiguy question, please be aware that some service providers allow you to upgrade or change your subscription plan from your Roku streaming device within settings, account, or similar menu. You can follow the on-screen prompts in a channel's plan selection screen to upgrade or downgrade your subscription.

  • Note: If a channel does not show a plan selection screen, the provider has not enabled this feature within their channel.
