How to change email after factory reset?

What if a factory reset was done before an email address was changed. How do you get the Roku set back up? I can't get past the language, set the resolution you want, and connect your volume to change up/down on the television through the Roku remote.  It was a former employer who worked here that originally set the Roku up and we know her email, but she is no longer employed here.

We understand the situation and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, if you do not have access to the email address associated with the Roku account, we will not be able to reset the account.

In this case, we recommend creating a new Roku account with a new email address. Once you have set up the new account, you can link your Roku device to it and continue using it as before.
