Hi,

Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.

We recommend that you take the following steps to cancel a subscription:

1) Log into your Roku account at my.roku.com to manage any Roku-billed subscription. You would do this if you signed up for the channel using your Roku account payment method. Note: You can confirm the account that your Roku device is linked to by visiting Settings>System>About on your device. You'll want to make sure you log into this account to manage any subscriptions initiated from that device.

2) If you log into your Roku account, and you aren't finding an active subscription, you will need contact the channel provider directly to help locate your account and/or cancel your subscription directly.

Thanks,
Danny

Hi @GHerndon,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

You can cancel your channel subscription directly from the Roku device or at my.roku.com.

  • Note: Subscriptions purchased directly from a service provider or otherwise purchased outside the Channel Store or The Roku Channel will not appear on the Subscriptions page. Contact your service provider directly with any subscription or billing questions.

Cancel or unsubscribe from your Roku® streaming device

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Highlight the channel you wish to cancel using the directional pad in the center of your Roku remote
  3. Press Star on your remote to open the options menu
  4. Select Manage subscription to view the renewal date and access additional options
  5. To unsubscribe, select Cancel subscription. A message will appear confirming the duration of continued access, content, and services.
  6. When prompted, select Cancel subscription. Roku will display a message confirming the cancellation and your last day of access.
  7. Select Done

Cancel or unsubscribe from a mobile device or PC

  1. Go to my.roku.com on your computer or smartphone
  2. If prompted, sign in to your Roku account. If you have trouble logging in, learn how to recover your login details.
  3. Scroll down and select Manage your subscriptions
  4. Locate the channel under Active Subscriptions and select Cancel subscription
  5. Select a cancelation reason to complete the process

If you need further assistance, feel free to contact Roku support

I hope this helps! I'll be here if you need anything else.

Best regards,
Mary

Re: Cancal a subscription

Depends on how you subscribed, and the channel itself. Usually you have to contact the provider and cancel through them. A handful of channels have Roku handle the payments, but I have no idea which ones or how you would cancel. This forum would not be the place to do it, however. You can log into your Roku account on a computer and see if it shows you are subscribing to something through Roku. I would expect cancellation instructions to be available there.
