How do I prevent guests from purchasing content on my account?

We use Roku/Hulu in our Airbnb property. How can we prevent guests from purchasing movies and other content using our saved CC information as default. Is there a way to require users to enter CC information before they can buy content?

@ptrettien

You're just letting your renters access your personal Roku account?

If you log into your account at https://my.roku.com you can create or reset a PIN value. You can then choose when the PIN is to be required, such as before it will allow any subscription or purchase to be made on your account.  Without knowing the PIN that would prevent ANY purchases by your guests.

Have you looked into Roku Guest Mode?  https://support.roku.com/article/360015612834

Another way to do this is to buy a second Roku device for renters to use. You can set up device to not have any payment details (do a search for how to do this), will need a new Roku account.

Many channels have their own logins and payments not via Roku account.

Guest mode is OK as a solution but having to relogin to your channels when coming back to normal mode is a drag.
