Got Charged for Warnermedia DEUS. I didn't buy that.

Jump to solution

I was checking my bank account and saw that I was charged 14.99 from POS Roku for Warnermedia DEUS, when I checked my invoices, nothing was charged.  But it charged my card. I'm confused about it, can y'all help?

@Benjisauce

One bit of additional information you'll want to look up, in addition to taking the steps @RokuKariza-D suggested ...

Go to https://my.roku.com/ and log in. Then click on the Manage your subscriptions link. If there is a subscription listed, you'll want to go ahead and cancel that, and work with Roku to figure out what happened.

However, if there's no subscription listed, then Roku didn't bill you, and it's some scammer providing the name Roku in the text description of the credit card charge. This is a popular scam with some criminals, and you'll need to work with your bank/credit card company to determine who actually billed you. Don't wait, as you may have limited time to get satisfaction through the bank and get your money back.

Hi @Love2dance7175,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Please be aware that all transactions from Roku appear with the company name ("Roku") on credit card and bank statements.

In addition, have you verified that you currently do not have any active subscriptions by logging into your Roku account online at my.roku.com and clicking Manage your subscriptions?

You can learn more at What to do if there is a charge you do not recognize | Official Roku Support

@Sas_4949, Warner Media is HBO Max.  You can see any subscriptions you have through Roku at https://my.roku.com .
