Creating an account - states my email already exists

We're trying to create our first Roku account on-line and can't because it says our email already has an account.  All we've done so far is to set up the stick on our TV.  Help!

I'd suggest trying to log in to https://my.roku.com, using your email address.   You won't know the password, but there is a "forgot password" (or similar wording) option you can use to reset to a password you can then use to log in to verify your account.

Interesting observation!  I would not be a bit surprised this is both problem and solution all rolled into one in a strange sort of way.
