I have a Roku Television that I set up under the wrong email with all of my info including bank charge. I wanted to close this account and remove my bank info for it is wrong. Need someone to contact me. I have been trying to resolve this and another matter with showtime billing me for a trial subscription that I want to end. All on the Roku account which is wrong
Even if the email account is not a working email address for you, at this point it is only a login name for that Roku account. As long as you know the password you set up when you created the account, you can still log into it at https://my.roku.com by using that email address. Once logged in, you can:
Go to Manage your subscriptions and verify or unsubscribe from any subscriptions attached to this account (important to do before canceling account to prevent recurring charges).
Remove the payment information (probably not necessary since you'll be canceling the account, but just to be sure ...)
To then connect your Roku to the correct account, do a Factory Reset via Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset. You'll then be setting the Roku up all over again from scratch, including linking it to your desired existing Roku account if you have one, or create a new one.
If this is a pre-existing account, channels already on this account should install.
You may need to log back into all or some channels that require logins.
Any subscriptions you had through Roku on that other account will not transfer. If you still want them you'll need to resubscribe.
