Billed for "Roku Perform Invest?"

Jump to solution

When going to my roku account it says no subscriptions but my bank account is charged $21 monthly for roku perform invest. Why is this happening? I canceled my debit card last month and had to get a new one because of this. Now my fiance's card is being charged. I need a phone number I can call to get this straightened out.

I know this question is old now, and it does have an accepted accepted answer, so I'll throw this out there.  As others have said, it's important to look for fraud, and if it truly doesn't show in your Roku purchase history, you should be wary.  However, I had to dig into it this month since I certainly didn't recognize the "perform invest" name either and was about to go to my bank.  However, when I logged in at roku.com, and went to "Account"->"View purchase history" I was able to verify that my purchase was actually valid.

Only here at the "view purchase history" page was I able to see that it's actually my DAZN (sports and boxing channel) subscription.  I saw that there was a purchase (same date and amount) for "DAZN - Montly subscription" and if I looked at the details for it, it said:

Item Name DAZN - Monthly Subscription

Developer Perform Investment Limited

Price $19.99

I'd just started it a month or two ago and would never have recognized the "Perform invest".

This is most likely a scam using Roku's name.  Contact your bank and find out the real company behind the charge.
