Today, I received an email from RokuResearch@qualtrics-research.com and because I understand that surveys can be important to an organization, I wanted to be a helpful customer and respond to the survey.
However, before clicking the "take the survey" link, I wanted to confirm whether or not this email was legitimate or a scam. After spending close to an hour on Roku's website in utter frustration, I found this community blog. I know that other tech companies use their blog as a place to look for answers, which I hate doing because I can rarely find the answer that I'm looking for.
I was so relieved to find the answer to my question about the email and whether or not it was actually from Roku. I assumed if the senders email is the same as the one I have, then the answer would be the same for me, that yes, the survey request was ligit from Roku.
So I clicked the survey link and got "This distribution was not sent to the expected recipient." Really? after all of the effort I made trying to do my part as a customer and complete your survey...and there is nothing there!
Ugh..the frustration. I will add this even though the guidelines say not to mix topics, but i'm beyond frustrated right now. Take Fox News and any other right-wing liars off of Roku. How could anyone support such filth...claiming American values...it starts with integrity with they have ZERO of. And if you don't take them off, at least move the **bleep** Fox New package as one of the last offers from you instead of, what was it like the 4th one down. Because if you are a supporter of the right, i'd like to know so I can begin my boycott of roku.
