Activate a used Roku Premiere Plus I received from a friend

I have gone thru the set up info online.

The Roku Premiere Plus I got from a friend still has his email on it. How do I get it to go back to a point where I have enter my info, pin, etc on this Roku? Or is this only usable by one person. 

I tried doing the factory reset. That didn't do it.

Did you press and hold the reset button for a full 30 seconds? I say again, a full 30 seconds?
