Wireless head phones and Roku audio

I have been using wireless headphones with my smart TV for several years.  I recently purchased a Roku Ultra device and successfully set it up for viewing.  However, now when I connect my wireless receiver to the TV, no sound is transmitted through my headphones.  I've tried everything that I can conceive, but nothing works.  I am able to use the Roku earbuds that were included, but the sound cuts off for others in the room.  I can only use the earbuds when no one else is around or even cares about the sound. I need a definite solution, not suggestions.

    Thanks for the post.

    Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? Prior to purchasing a Roku device, how were you connecting your wireless headphones to your listen to your TV?

    Please be aware that when streaming through the Roku device, when using the private listening feature, other audio playback will be disabled.

    With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.
