Will there be an option to sync my remote to a Goodee YG600 Plus projector?

The projector itself has great audio and I say this because my volume and mute buttons on my voice remote doesn't work and I think it requires a TV brand for IR setup that will fix the problem. Even using the Roku App or Google Home synced to the Roku app doesn't actually change the volume either which is why I'm asking.
