I have someone who is hearing impaired and and needs the headphones. I was wondering if the Ultra would work with a Roku TV or would it be easier to find another TV?

Sure you can attach a Roku Ultra to Roku tv, no problem. You can also set up the roku tv to turn on and go to the Ultra home screen instead of the Roku tv home screen.

If you have a mobile device (phone/tablet) with a headphone jack, you can also Roku's mobile App and their Private Listening feature with your RokuTV.
Similar to using the Ultra Private Listening feature (instead of plugging into the remote, you are plugging into your phone or mobile device.) It then works for both streaming and antenna TV this way.
