will all roku devices work with wifi 6 ?
getting conflicting info on wifi6 being able to support all ROKU devices, WHat is the truth- can I buy a wifi6 and expect my roku TV to still work, my streaming sticks and my premier units ...

My Roku 4850R says it supports WI-FI 6, but it cannot find the SSID for my WI-FI 6 Network...I'm on a Netgear RAXE300 that is broadcasting all three types...2.4 GHz; 5 GHz and 6 GHz. My new Macs and new iphone 16 see and connect fine to the 6 GHz network. The New Roku 4850R can see the 2.4 and 5 GHz network, only. I've tried the "Private Network" w/in the Roku Settings, but it still cannot find the WI-FI 6 SSID network. The Roku says there are not and software updates...today is Jan 12th, 2025. Will wait a few days to see if there are any updates and then I'm going to return the device.
Ryanfoster00 "WiFi 6" does not require the 6GHz band. The WiFi6 protocol (802.11ax) works on 5GHz as well. Roku cannot add support for a different radio band via a software update. The radio in the Roku has to have the 6GHz band, and at this time no Roku has a 6GHz radio.
