R582The most common connectivity issue is channel congestion, so I'd recommend you install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar if you have an iPhone. Once installed, open the app and check to see how many others in your area use the same channel/band, then log into the router and switch to a channel with less congestion. Those that use service provider equipment should be aware that auto-select is the default setting for channels and is often a problem. Manually choosing channels while monitoring with the app, is by far the best. Re: 2.4 gHz, its a stronger signal but slower than 5 gHz though its plenty for UHD streaming. Hope that helps
