Why is my TCL Roku TV overheating?

I have seen topics for Roku devices and sticks overheating, but none for a TV itself. We have had this issue twice when watching a video that it says it's overheating. I can't figure out why it is an...

    Roku only supplies the software. TCL does the hardware for the TV's. Other than making sure no vents are being blocked and nothing generating heat is under or behind the TV, you will need to take it up with TCL. It may also depend if the TV is at an angle, (top tilted forward or back) as than can screw up the airflow.

    Have you tried contacting the TV manufacturer to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.

      I am getting the overheating message for the first time. Currently watching appleTV. I have had the TV for about 4 months and have never had this message before. Any suggestions for a fix?
