WHY HAVE ALL THE ROKU CHANNELS CHANGED NUMBERS?

How are we supposed have a clue where the stations we often watch, might be found?
What was the point in just jumbling up all the channel numbers, what purpose does that serve, except to make life more difficult on your users? I now must scroll manually up and down the list of hundreds of channels to find the ones I want, why?
