Why don’t have to keep logging in?

I’m on my last leg with this dang Roku device.   Every time I I go to grab the remote and watch TV with my paid Spectrum App, I’m asked to re log in, download a QR code and reload apps.  It’s getting old.  Why can’t this thing work when I go to use it?
