When selecting Exit Guest Mode and entering PIN, the TV restarts and goes the guest mode screen

My TV is stuck on the Guest Mode screen (Welcome! Enjoy your stay.). I can access Exit Guest Mode but when applied the TV reboots and takes me to the Guest Mode screen once again.

  • Hi RamsaysRouges,

Welcome, and thank you for your post!

We understand the problem you've encountered with your Roku TV in recovery mode. We'd be glad to assist you in getting things back on track. Let's perform a troubleshooting step to exit you from the recovery mode and re-activate your Roku TV again. Kindly follow the steps below:

Initiate commands on your Roku TV to enter recovery mode once again to set it up.

    1. Locate the pinhole Reset button on the back of your TV, near the antenna, HDMI, and audio connections.
    2. Using a straightened paperclip (or similar), press and hold the reset button for at least 20 seconds.

Once you're in Recovery Mode, follow the instructions to proceed. The TV will download and install the software before restarting. This may take a few moments, after which you may be asked to perform the Guided Setup and activation process, depending on the state of your TV, prior to using Recovery Mode.

    We hope this helps.
