When purchasing a marketplace roku stick?
Want to purchase a stick from the marketplace. How do I know if the Roku stick is 4k by the serial #?

Looking at the device's serial number will not help you identify whether it's a 4K or not, except if it's already activated and connected to a television. In that case, you can check it through Settings > System > About.
The model number is on the back of the device, and it should be 3820R2.
