So I downloaded app and created an account to watch on phone (mobile) it is not functioning. And it's not only on 1 show. I just wanted to watch the early seasons of Great British baking show on my phone

I am on this forum because of the exact same issue.
I cannot watch the Roku channel on my phone.
Customer service said this also, but google and y'all say we can.

I have one device available to watch ony Roku app, and it's the tv.
I keep it updated, I have just now uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing.
I'm disappointed I have to go to another room where it is noisy and watch around others.
I would prefer to watch in comfort and privacy.
I see where others are, or were able to do this. Is this just a glitch with the latest update, but then why would customer service say that it is not a feature.
I can watch every other streaming service on my phone, why would Roku limit this, seems inane.
I don't just want to utilize my phone as a remote control, but glad to have that option, as the Roku remote broke within months of purchase and will not turn on or off the tv, while volume and other features still work.
I understand you get what you pay for, and this was inexpensive, but I didn't expect I wouldn't be able to view their own apps licensed programs, that's just cheap.
I have to agree 100%, I'm very disappointed I thought for sure you could at least watch something on your phone besides just the TV regardless like you said it's their program
It let me watch several movies on my android phone. But now I have no option to select android like I have had previously.
