Watched ROKU last night. Today we don't even have display light of any kind.

We've had ROKU for several years with no real problems.  We watched ROKU last night.  This morning the ROKU device displays no color; no red, no white, no blinking light.  Just dark!  We're lost!  What do we do?

    Could be your TV's backlight has failed.  When trying to view, try shining a flashlight on the screen and view closely.  If you can faintly see the image in the flashlight beam, it's a backlight problem.

  • It's currently 6:18pm pacific time and within the last hour we lost our visual.  Home screen looked fine but apps displayed blank screens.  Displays are back but there is no audio.  Anybody else?

      In addition, have you tried performing a reboot to your TV and see if that fixes the issue?

      Let me walk you through it:

      1. Press Home on your Roku remote
      2. Scroll and select Settings
      3. Select System
      4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
      5. Select System restart
