Volume level constantly shows on TV while watching

While watching TV the volume level shows on the TV.  When I change the volume level I can't see it.  When I stop changing the volume it then shows on the TV.  That is the opposite of what it is supposed to do.

    We understand that the volume indicator does not display on the TV screen while you are using the Roku remote, and conversely, it does appear when the remote is not in use. No worries, we are more than happy to assist you with this.

    System Restart your Roku device:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
    5. Select System restart
