Volume keeps increasing on its own

My roku tv (onn 2018ish) keeps increasing volume without anyone touching remote, and even when batteries taken out of remote. Volume goes all the way to 100 and wont go back down. Ive done system restart, unplugged it, and even factory restart. Nothing has worked. Help please.

    Hi SAM1130,

Thanks for your first post here in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you letting us know about this volume of behavior going on. We'd like to know more about this.

Is this happening to all of the channels on the device, or is this an isolated case going on? What are the steps to reproduce the issue? When did the issue occur?

Tell us more about it, and that will help us determine the root cause of the issue and provide you with the appropriate solution.

    Thanks,

    Rey

The issue of Roku increasing and decreasing its volume all on its own is still not FIXED!!!!!!

Been documented here since March ; it’s now July . Still volume increases to max of 100 but then May also decrease to zero 😡😡😡😡

        Sunny54,

        Thanks for the post!

We are aware that this must be an ongoing problem, since we have previously been provided with information and specifics pertaining to it. We sincerely thank you for your time and attention, and we are sorry for the delay in our response to this matter. It would appear that we are lacking information regarding this issue that must be necessary for us to have a better understanding of it.

Could you tell us if this is occasional behavior? If so, what are the steps that led you to this kind of issue? How are you powering your device? Is it directly to a wall outlet or to a TV USB port?

Once we have a clearer grasp of the situation, we will be able to recommend the appropriate next steps.

        Warm regards,

        Rey
