Voice Remote Pro loose charging port

The cable for charging the remote will not fit readily and firmly into the remote. I have to fiddle with it for several minutes to get the light to begin blinking, and I then have to be careful not to touch the cable for fear that it will stop charging. Is there a fix for this, or will I have to live with it?

    It appears that you might have a loose charging port or plug. Could you provide a bit more information so we can see what we can do next?

    • Is the charging cable you are using the one that came with the Roku remote?
    • Can you please tell me if you have tried using a different charging cable or plug?
    • Have you noticed any physical damage or burnt areas on the charging port?
    • When did you buy up this remote, and where did you get it? Did it come with your Roku device or the Roku TV?

    In the meantime, I suggest getting the Roku mobile app as an alternative. Here's the link to download it for free.
