Video Capture (25 characters because it doesn't like short titles)

Just purchased a Roku UltimateLT. Was hoping to use it with my laptop (No room for TV right now).

From what I gather I need an HDMI video capture device since laptop only has HDMI out.

Im looking at a Vivitar HDMI to USB Video converter. Will this work with the Roku?
