Unless you can connect to the old network, you will need a new remote.

You’ll need a physical Roku remote or temporarily connect your Roku to the old Wi-Fi network it remembers. Here's what you can do:
Option 1: Use the Old Network
- Rename your new Wi-Fi (SSID + password) to match your old network exactly.
- Roku will auto-connect.
- Use the Roku mobile app to control it and change the Wi-Fi.
Option 2: Buy or borrow a Roku remote
You need a physical remote to connect to a new Wi-Fi if the Roku isn’t already connected.
✅ TL;DR: You need a remote unless you can recreate the old Wi-Fi network.
