Hello
f your Roku Streaming Stick 4K remote is not pairing and does not have a pairing button, try the following steps:
Ensure Remote Compatibility: Confirm that the remote you have is compatible with the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. Some Roku remotes, particularly those without a pairing button, may not be designed to work with specific Roku devices.
Check Battery Status: Replace the batteries with fresh ones, ensuring they are inserted correctly. Low or improperly placed batteries can cause pairing issues.
Restart Both Devices:
Unplug the Roku Streaming Stick from the power source and wait for about 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.
Remove and reinsert the batteries in the remote once the Roku Stick powers back on.
Use Roku Mobile App: If the remote still won’t pair, you can use the Roku mobile app on your smartphone as a temporary remote. Download the app, connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the Roku, and use it to navigate and troubleshoot further.
Wi-Fi Interference: Sometimes, Wi-Fi interference can prevent the remote from pairing. Ensure that the Roku device has a stable internet connection, and if possible, move other Wi-Fi devices away to avoid interference.
Try Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your Roku Streaming Stick. This will restore it to default settings:
Go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset.
