Unable to pair remote with Roku streaming stick 4K

Hi, I just bought a Roku Streaming Stick 4K that has a remote without a pairing button and I can't pair it.  I have followed all the instructions but it is not working.  The remote is flashing and I put it near the stick but will never pair.  I have removed the batteries, unplugged the stick, etc... It is not pairing.  What else can I try please?

    Hello

    Try this

If you're unable to pair your Roku Streaming Stick 4K remote, follow these additional steps to resolve the issue:

Ensure Correct Batteries: Double-check that the remote has fresh batteries installed. Sometimes, weak batteries may prevent the remote from pairing properly.

Restart the Roku Stick: Unplug the Roku Streaming Stick from your TV and power outlet, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. This ensures the device is reset and ready for pairing.

Use the Roku App: If the remote still isn't pairing, you can control your Roku stick using the official Roku mobile app. This will allow you to navigate to the settings and manually pair the remote via the Roku interface.

Check for Interference: Ensure there are no obstacles or interference between the Roku device and the remote. Ideally, the remote should be within a few feet of the Roku stick during pairing attempts.

Factory Reset: If all else fails, perform a factory reset on your Roku device by pressing and holding the reset button on the Roku Streaming Stick for 10-15 seconds. After resetting, try pairing the remote again.

Thanks for your reply but I just received a new one and it work perfectly.  I guess there was a default with the other one.

Yes I am using the USB Cable provided in the package and I looked at many videos on Youtube.  Don't understand what I am doing wrong.

I would guess you're not doing anything wrong and either the remote is bad or the Wi-Fi receiver in the cable is bad.  There's no way to test one half without a working other half.  It's probably best to just return the stick.

    Hello

f your Roku Streaming Stick 4K remote is not pairing and does not have a pairing button, try the following steps:

Ensure Remote Compatibility: Confirm that the remote you have is compatible with the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. Some Roku remotes, particularly those without a pairing button, may not be designed to work with specific Roku devices.

Check Battery Status: Replace the batteries with fresh ones, ensuring they are inserted correctly. Low or improperly placed batteries can cause pairing issues.

    Restart Both Devices:

Unplug the Roku Streaming Stick from the power source and wait for about 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.
Remove and reinsert the batteries in the remote once the Roku Stick powers back on.
Use Roku Mobile App: If the remote still won’t pair, you can use the Roku mobile app on your smartphone as a temporary remote. Download the app, connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the Roku, and use it to navigate and troubleshoot further.

Wi-Fi Interference: Sometimes, Wi-Fi interference can prevent the remote from pairing. Ensure that the Roku device has a stable internet connection, and if possible, move other Wi-Fi devices away to avoid interference.

Try Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your Roku Streaming Stick. This will restore it to default settings:

Go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset.
